Project 17 is a chilling mystery and thriller by Laurie Faria Stolarz. When Derik and 5 friends venture to Danvers State Hospital, an abandoned mental hospital, things get freaky. Doors shut and lock seemingly by themselves and voices can be heard spoken by no one. Through out the night things get creepier and creepier when a patients diary is found describing chilling events that happened during her time at the hospital. The friends develope a sort of obsession with the diary and strive to find out the secrets hidden with in it and the hospital. This book is very suspenseful and I couldn't put it down. It left me thinking about it through out the night after I'd finished it. If you like this book you might also like Deadly Little Secrets, also by Stolarz.
A new book review. The Pretty Little Liar Series Books by Sara Shepard are so awesome. They are about a group of friends who end up loosing a member of their clique at a young age and have to live their lives with a few years later with many hidden secrets. You follow the story of Aria, Spencer, Emily, and Hanna as they protect secrets and try to solve the mistery of their best friend Alison's death. Despite the clique-y covers the books are very good and are a mystery series. If you like this book you will also like the other three books, the fifth one coming out in November.

True to my word I have got another book review. But this one is more for a whole trilogy not just a single book. The Magic or Madness Trilogy by Justine Larbalestier is a good group of books. They star a female hero named Reason. These books were so good I finished them in less than a week [one a day]. They are not your normal books about magic and contain a surprising twist. Magic has a serious downside: use too little and you go insane, use too much and you die alarmingly early most not even making it to there thirties. Reason, the main character, a fifteen-year-old girl faces many challenges. Starting when her mom goes mad and and she is sent to live with her grandmother who her mother has taught her to hate and fear. Shortly after moving to her grandmother's Reason discovers a secret about who she really is, a secret that her mom has kept from her trying to protect her. What will Reason do with her new found information. This book is based partly in Australia [so expect a strange accent]. It is a fantasy book. If you like this book you will also like Uglies by Scott Westerfield.

The teacher is supposed to be mean but he doesn't seem that mean. I have to paint a picture and I'm doing a picture by Gorgia O'Keeffe. Cool, I know thats me! :]
A few days ago we started a new quarter. I'm sorta happy but, now my new exploration class is FACS it stands for Family And Consumer Sciences. You can most likely see why they shortened the name to FACS. PLus also I got really good in my math test I only missed 1. Yay Me :]
IS+EP, one of the biggest tests of the year. I am so unexcited. We are going to take the entire test in 2 days. Believe me it is a big test. But luckily we get to take breaks and chew gum. Both days I stay with my first period teacher.

This week 10:00-12:00 I am doing basketball camp. It wouldn't be so bad except that the gym is so hot that there could be a river from all the sweat and we only got one 2 minute break half way through. But I got through it all with my best friend who was car pooling with me. Anyway now to the Harry part. Harry as in Potter of course. I am going to see the movie in IMAX! Isn't that amazing. I am so excited. Just so you know Snape is evil.P.S.You might not understand my reason for the different colors and if you do wow that is amazing.Dark Orange- for basketball because that is where I talk about.Dark Purple- for the evil wizards in Harry Potter like Snape.Light Orange- for the good wizards in Harry Potter. For fun try to guess what the other colors in my blog stand for.
I am so board. I have already read 9 books and summer has just started 2 and a half weeks ago. But now I have no more books so I have to wait to go to the library.=(
